Psychology

The Psychology major is mainly concerned with how human beings recognize the environment around ourselves, what we learn, and how we think and act. In the Psychology strand we employ experiments and surveys as tools for investigation. With the help of various technical equipment, we measure the reactions of our mind and body and statistically analyze numerical data in order to understand the mechanisms and laws of the mind.

Social Psychology

Social psychology seeks to identify the psychological laws hidden behind human social actions. This area of ​​study covers a wide range of subjects, including cognition and evaluation of self, interpersonal recognition, social estimation, emotion, interpersonal behaviors, interpersonal relationships, groups, health and well-being, and culture. We study complicated social human actions using various research methods, such as experiments, questionnaires, interviews, and observations.

Contemporary Social Psychology

In modern social psychology, we focus on the psychological phenomena found in human social behaviors in modern society, and pursue this from the basics to application. We actively study phenomena that need to be clarified and solved, such as internationalization, aging, and health problems in modern society. Research themes include interpersonal relationships, interpersonal behavior, social support, cross-cultural contact, culture, health, and medical safety. We select and combine various research methods such as experiments, surveys, interviews, and observations.

Clinical Psychology

Clinical psychology is based on the knowledge accumulated in the academic field related to the mind and applied in hospitals and clinics, school counseling rooms and child counseling offices, facilities for the elderly and company counseling rooms, family courts and prisons, etc. In clinical settings, we study and develop practical approaches regarding when and how to help different kinds of people.
