岡山大学では、新型コロナウイルスワクチンの大学拠点接種を6月の終わりからすすめています。使用するワクチンはモデルナ社のものですが、既にメディアで報じられた通り、異物が混入されていたケースが見つかり、本学の拠点接種で使用予定のワクチンも厚生労働省発表のロットに該当するため本日８月２６日（木）のワクチン接種は中止になります。

中止に伴うワクチン接種については、日程が決まり次第、大学より発表があります。

Okayama University suspends the vaccination as a precaution against potential contamination of Modern Inc.'s COVID-19 vaccine. The contamination potentially affects 4,810 people who were vaccinated at Okayama University after the 18th of August (lot# 3004734 and #3004956). These vaccines were from the same factory line as #3004667, which were found to be contaminated at other vaccination centers.

Okayama University employs a triple-check system against contamination. So far there have been no reported cases. For now, please do watch your health conditions carefully. Your lot # can be found on your vaccination record.
