【講師自己紹介】
I was born in 1961, in Ankara. I received my bachelor’s degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Ankara University Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, in 1984. The years between 1984 and 1986, I worked as a Turkish lecturer in Middle East Technical University in Ankara. In 1986, I became a research assistant in Ankara University, department of Linguistic. I wrote my master thesis about linguistic properties of proverbs. In 1994, I got my doctorate degree with my thesis entitled “Lexical Structure in Turkish”. I was appointed to assistant professor post at the same department within the same year. The years between 1997 and 1998, I was a visiting professor in Department of Turkish Language and Culture of National Chengchi University. I got my associate professor degree in 1998 and my professor degree in 2006. I was a visiting researcher in the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) at Harvard University for six months with the post-doctorate scholarship of the Turkish Academy of Sciences in 2001. I was director of the Languages Studies Center of Ankara University between the years 2003 and 2012. I gave lectures about teaching Turkish in countries like Germany, China, South Korea, Sweden, France and Greece. My books in the field of linguistic, morphology and syntax were published. As an addition of language teaching and language typology, my articles in all these fields were published. I’m married and I have two children. I speak English and French.
